Good Samaritans Alliance, LTD was founded in 2011 in Rossville, Georgia. It was formed to shows compassion through outreach by providing necessities (clothes, food, toiletries, etc.), repairing homes, cleaning the community, and discipleship programs.
Too often churches close doors to those in need due to the person not being a member of the church or meeting the criteria. We exist to be the church, to be a body, that helps families no matter the background. We are here to show compassion and to bring hope to families who are in need. We do this by pointing it back to His Kingdom by helping whoever, whatever way we need to do help, and wherever the need is.
The name of the organization came about through Jesus's teaching of the parable of the Good Samaritan in Luke 10:25-37. This specific parable is teaching us who is our neighbor. Throughout the story, you will find that a neighbor is anyone in need with whom one comes in contact with and to show compassion and kindness beyond the bounds of their religious, ethnic, and background. We here at Good Samaritans Alliance see that everyone in the world is our neighbor and every individual is called to care for those in need no matter their story.
